THREE men have appeared in court today accused of shooting a man in an alleged murder bid.

Gary Rooney, 32, Darren Beaton, 35, and Stephen Preston, 20, are charged with assaulting Javaid Akhtar, 52, at a shop in Glasgow’s Govan on October 25 2024.
