The Katsina State branch of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has threatened to embark on an indefinite strike over issues relating to the payment of the new minimum wage.

The Katsina NLC stated that if by Monday, 25th November, there is no positive feedback from the state government on the payment of the ₦70,000 new minimum wage to workers in the state, then members would embark on strike.
