A WOMAN has been killed following a horror crash on a busy Scots road.

Emergency crews raced to the fatal smash this morning on the A75 between Annan and Eastriggs.

The incident involved a green DAF articulated lorry and a black Ford KA.

Paramedics battled to save the 36-year-old driver but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland is urging anyone with information to call the non-emergency 101 number.
