NEIL Gray was right to take a government limo to a star-studded film premiere because the movie featured drug and alcohol addiction and was therefore government business, John Swinney has insisted.

The Health Secretary took a ministerial car to Cameo Picturehouse in Edinburgh on August 15 this year to attend the opening reception of the city’s Film Festival – which included a screening of the new Saoirse Ronan film, Outrun.
