The 2024 Men‘s Ballon d’Or nominees have been revealed with legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo missing out.
This marks the first time since 2003 that the duo will be missing out in the famous award.
Messi holds the record for most Ballon d’Or title with eight (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019, 2021, 2023).
Al Nassr skipper Ronaldo, follows closely with five (2008, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017), and boasts as the player with the most nominations (eighteen).
