Former U-23 Eagles captain, Azubuike Okechukwu has sealed a move to Turkish second division club, Erzurumspor.

Okechukwu was on the books of another Turkish club, Caykur Rizespor last season.

The 27-year-old made 13 league appearances for Rizespor during the 2023/24 season.

The midfielder is presently training with the team pending his official unveiling.

The player has spent most of his professional career in Turkey.

He has previously played for Turkish clubs Yeni Malatyaspor, Istanbul Basaksehir and Sivasspor.

The former Bayelsa United star has made one appearance for Nigeria at the international level.
