Bandits armed with dangerous weapons invaded Dan-Ali, a community in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State, on Friday, disrupting Jummat prayers in multiple mosques.
Henzodaily reports that a source within the community who confirmed the incident to Punch said the assailants stormed the areas, firing sporadically, causing panic and forcing worshippers to flee.
The source, who wished to remain anonymous, pleaded with the relevant security agency for reinforcement, adding that the bandits are giving the communities a tough time.
