Governor Malam Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has suspended the Commissioner for Special Duties, Auwalu Sankara.
Henzodaily reports that the suspension is to allow an investigation into allegations made by the Kano State Hisbah.
This was made known in a statement on Saturday signed by Malam Bala Ibrahim, Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State.
