The Adamawa State Government has said the allegation that it deducted N40,000 from the October salary of every worker is untrue.

“Contrary to reports, there was no blanket N40,000 deductions across the board,” the government said in a statement signed by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou.
