The Adamawa State Police Command has decorated 120 assistant superintendents of Police II, ASP II, after their promotion from the rank of inspector.

The state Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris decorated the newly promoted officers sequel to the recent promotion approved by the Police Service Commission on the basis of merit, requisite experience, years of service and academic records.

A statement from the state Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, said all the newly promoted 120 police officers are serving in Adamawa State.

In attendance during the rank decoration ceremony at the Police Officers Mess in Yola were the CP’s management team, area commanders, divisional police officers, strategic commanders, other officers, and wellwishers of the promoted officers.

The state police commissioner charged the newly promoted officers to discharge the responsibilities of their new ranks with strict adherence to the rule of law.
