The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun has commiserated with the Government and the people of Jigawa State over the unfortunate death of about 140 persons following the tanker explosion which occurred on Tuesday.

DAILY POST recalls that the Majia community in Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa State was thrown into chaos on Tuesday over the tanker explosion which claimed many lives and injured several others.

Although the police in Jagawa said on Wednesday that 90 people were killed in the incident, eye-witnesses have said over 140 people were buried on Wednesday…
