An aide to Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has stirred controversy by claiming that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) intends to use funds from the state treasury to win the upcoming local elections set for Saturday.
According to Premium Times, the governor‘s political adviser, Godwin Ntukudeh, made this statement during a PDP campaign rally on October 3 in the Ikono Local Government Area.
