Fashion designer Veekee James, also known as Victoria James, shared her experience creating the first outfit for Bonang Matheba at Miss World South Africa on Saturday, August 10.

She mentioned that her inspiration comes from God and that she believes she can achieve anything through Christ, who gives her strength.

The dedicated 29-year-old shared that she created Bonang’s dress for last year’s beauty pageant (2023). When Bonang contacted her three months before this year’s competition, she quickly got started. It was the toughest design she has ever worked on.

Bonang expressed pride in the stylist’s work and praised her commitment. She also mentioned that she would continue to turn to Veekee for future outfits.

The Akwa-Ibom state indigene explained that she struggled to find the right style for Bonang until just a week before the event, and she finished the dress only two days before the beauty pageant.

She expressed gratitude to her team for helping her create the beautiful blue, green, and gold mermaid off-shoulder dress that amazed many online.

In other news, A lecturer from Nigeria did something kind for his students during a class. He gave them some money to buy breakfast.

A video shared by Astrum Luris shows the lecturer with the happy students in the classroom.

There were naira notes on the desks, which the lecturer had handed out. Astrum mentioned that those who skipped class that day would miss out on the breakfast money.

Astrum commented “Wahala for who no come school today. When the Attorney General of state is your lecturer.”

The lecturer is reportedly from Ebonyi State University in Abakaliki.
