TONY Roper has revealed people no longer call him Jamesie Cotter after he starred as loveable Grandpa Joe in the new Celtic festive video.

The 83-year-old comic actor – who shot to fame in the 80s as Rab C. Nesbitt’s rascal pal in the BBC sitcom – has melted hearts as the widowed grandparent in the nostalgic short film Hoops & Dreams Come True This Christmas.
