Nollywood actress Bukola Arugba recently took to her Instagram page to share the valuable life lessons she has learned. In addition to being an actress, Bukola Arugba is also a poet and writer, and she provided her fans and followers with a glimpse of her poetic work.

One of the lessons she revealed is the importance of not underestimating oneself and not settling for less than what God has destined for one’s life. She emphasized that it is crucial to recognize and embrace the worth that God has bestowed upon each individual.

Furthermore, Bukola Arugba highlighted another important lesson she has learned: that no matter how much one may be adorned with success and achievements, those who fail to appreciate one’s true value will continue to do so, regardless of external accolades.

Bukola Arugba’s third lesson about life emphasizes the importance of understanding the distinction between humility and stupidity, as there exists a significant gap between the two.

She reflects, “Through my journey in life, I have come to realize that it is essential not to undermine oneself and settle for less than what God has intended. By doing so, you protect yourself from being displaced, disgraced, or replaced.”

Continuing her insights, she acknowledges, “Furthermore, I have learned that no matter how adorned one may be, from head to toe with gold, those who fail to recognize your value will continue to do so. This holds true even when success comes effortlessly.“

Lastly, Bukola Arugba shares, “In my experience, I have also discovered that there is a significant distinction between genuine humility and an excessive display of humility, which can border on foolishness.”
