The new armed terrorist group, known as Lakurawa, has reportedly invaded Mera, Augie Local Government Area of Kebbi State, killing 15 people and stealing over 100 cows.

Henzodaily learnt that a prominent community resident, Bashir Isah Mera (Yariman Mera), confirmed the incident to Daily Trust.

Mera said the terrorist group stormed the town as people were preparing for Jumat prayer, stressing that the exchange of gunfire led to the death of the 15 residents.
