Rangers maintained their push for the Premier Football League title courtesy of a 3-0 win against Bayelsa United at the Nnamdi Azikwe , Enugu on Sunday.

Former NPFL top scorer Godwin Obaje bagged a brace for the Flying Antelopes with Chiedozie Okorie netting the other goal.

Rangers top the standings with 60 points from 33 games.

Holders Enyimba moved to second position after a hard-fought 1-0 win at local rivals .

Bernard Ovoke scored the winning goal 18 minutes from time.

Remo Stars dropped to third position following a 3-2 defeat to in Ilorin.

Kwara United raced into a three-goal lead through Wasiu Alalade, Isaiah Ejeh and Ahmed Akinyele's own goal.

The visitors however reduced the deficit courtesy of two late goals from Franck Mawuena and Dayo Ojo.

Former champions boosted their survival hopes with a 2-1 away win against Lobi Stars.

Sani Suleiman scored twice for the Promise Keepers, while Ibrahim Aliyu was on target for the hosts.

In Akure, Sunshine Stars and Bendel Insurance battled to a 0-0 draw, while there was also no winner in the game between Plateau United and Niger Tonardoes.

At the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, were held to a 2-2 draw by their hosts Katsina United.

Moses Effiong put Katsina United ahead on 15 minutes, while Daddy Abdulrahman equalised for the visitors two minutes after the half hour mark.

Adamu Mustapha put Shooting Stars ahead for the first time in the game in 65th minute with Michael Ibe netting a late equaliser for the home team.

Elsewhere, Heartland were in fine form as they defeated Gombe United 3-0.

Promise Anyanwu netted twice for the Naze Millionaires in the encounter, while
Chukwudi Esobe scored the other goal.

Rivers United thrashed Sporting Lagos 4-1 in another matchday 33 encounter in Port Harcourt.

Andy Okpe ( brace ) Samuel Antwi and Seiyefa Jackson were on target for Rivers United.

Raymond Tochukwu was the scorer for Sporting Lagos.
