The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has announced a temporary suspension of search operations for the Eastwind Aviation Sikorsky SK76 helicopter that crashed off the coast of Port Harcourt.
The suspension came as daylight diminished, making it difficult to continue the search safely.
In a press statement released by NSIB’s Director of Public Affairs and Family Assistance, Mrs. Bimbo Oladeji, it was revealed that the search operations were paused at 6:15 PM yesterday.
Despite extensive search efforts throughout the day, no debris, survivors, or bodies were found.
