The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has warned protesters not to carry out their planned demonstration on October 1 in the state.
The Command stated that arrangements have been made in advance to stop the protests.
They warned that the command was prepared to put an end to any kind of rebellion from the demonstrators.
This was contained in a statement by the command spokesperson, Timfon John.
Henzodaily reports that the planned protest tagged #FearlessInOctober1 is a continuation of the End Bad Governance protest, held in some states across the country from August 1 to 10.
