AN urgent hunt is on to find a missing para glider who was last seen 19 hours ago.
Matthew Thornton, 34, has vanished close to the tourist hotspot Grasmere, in the Lake District, after setting off from a fell with a green smiley-faced wing.

Matthew Thornton hasn’t been seen for 19 hours
The Oxfordshire-based man was set to go paragliding at Tuesday lunchtime.
But no one has heard from him since around 12.30pm after letting family and friends known he was attempting the fly.
